{"id":902514,"date":"2026-09-02T16:28:49","date_gmt":"2026-09-02T16:28:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/innov.ccnb.ca\/?post_type=actualites-mise-jour&#038;p=902514"},"modified":"2026-09-02T16:41:07","modified_gmt":"2026-09-02T16:41:07","slug":"fabrication-additive-grand-format-kuka-caraquet","status":"publish","type":"actualites-mise-jour","link":"https:\/\/innov.ccnb.ca\/fr\/nouvelles\/fabrication-additive-grand-format-kuka-caraquet\/","title":{"rendered":"Une nouvelle plateforme de fabrication additive grand format entre en action \u00e0 Caraquet"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le centre <strong>INNOV \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/innov.ccnb.ca\/fr\/materiaux-de-pointe\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"4724\">Mat\u00e9riaux de pointe<\/a> de Caraquet<\/strong> dispose d\u00e9sormais d\u2019une nouvelle capacit\u00e9 de fabrication avanc\u00e9e : une plateforme robotis\u00e9e de fabrication additive grand format d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e autour d\u2019un robot industriel <strong>KUKA KR120 R3900<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">D\u00e9voil\u00e9e le 1er septembre en pr\u00e9sence notamment de <a href=\"https:\/\/sencanada.ca\/fr\/senateurs\/cormier-rene\/\">Ren\u00e9 Cormier<\/a>, s\u00e9nateur du Nouveau-Brunswick, de Pierre Zundel, pr\u00e9sident-directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du <a href=\"https:\/\/ccnb.ca\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/ccnb.ca\/\">CCNB<\/a>, de Jos\u00e9e Landry, directrice d\u2019INNOV, de S\u00e9bastien Vaudreuil, chercheur responsable au d\u00e9veloppement des affaires chez INNOV et de Maxime Saulnier charg\u00e9 de projets. Maxime g\u00e8re les op\u00e9rations de cette nouvelle infrastructure qui ouvre de nombreuses possibilit\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de prototypage, de fabrication et de d\u00e9veloppement de mat\u00e9riaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Au-del\u00e0 de l\u2019arriv\u00e9e d\u2019un nouvel \u00e9quipement, il s\u2019agit surtout d\u2019une nouvelle capacit\u00e9 mise \u00e0 la disposition des entreprises souhaitant exp\u00e9rimenter et acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer leurs projets d\u2019innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-imprimer-en-grand-puis-usiner\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Imprimer en grand\u2026 puis usiner<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Contrairement aux syst\u00e8mes d\u2019impression 3D g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement associ\u00e9s \u00e0 la fabrication de petites pi\u00e8ces, cette plateforme permet de travailler sur des <strong>composantes et des prototypes de grandes dimensions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le syst\u00e8me repose sur un robot industriel \u00e0 six axes capable de r\u00e9aliser un d\u00e9p\u00f4t contr\u00f4l\u00e9 de mati\u00e8re. Il peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour le prototypage industriel, l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation de mat\u00e9riaux ou encore le d\u00e9veloppement et la validation de nouveaux proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de fabrication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mais la fabrication additive n\u2019est qu\u2019une partie de ses capacit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apr\u00e8s l\u2019impression, les pi\u00e8ces peuvent \u00e9galement \u00eatre <strong>usin\u00e9es avec le m\u00eame syst\u00e8me<\/strong>, permettant de combiner diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9tapes de fabrication et de finition tout en limitant les interventions n\u00e9cessaires entre les op\u00e9rations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour une entreprise, cette approche permet notamment de tester plus rapidement diff\u00e9rentes g\u00e9om\u00e9tries, diff\u00e9rents mat\u00e9riaux ou diff\u00e9rentes m\u00e9thodes de fabrication avant d\u2019envisager une production \u00e0 plus grande \u00e9chelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-des-premiers-essais-avec-60-de-farine-de-bois\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Des premiers essais avec 60 % de farine de bois<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les \u00e9quipes d\u2019INNOV ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 pousser les possibilit\u00e9s de la plateforme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parmi les premiers travaux r\u00e9alis\u00e9s \u00e0 Caraquet : l\u2019impression de pi\u00e8ces prototypes utilisant un <strong>mat\u00e9riau composite compos\u00e9 \u00e0 60 % de farine de bois<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cette exp\u00e9rimentation illustre un autre int\u00e9r\u00eat de la fabrication additive grand format : la possibilit\u00e9 de travailler sur de nouveaux mat\u00e9riaux et d\u2019explorer des avenues de valorisation de ressources locales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mat\u00e9riaux composites, mat\u00e9riaux biosourc\u00e9s, param\u00e8tres de d\u00e9p\u00f4t, nouvelles g\u00e9om\u00e9tries ou proc\u00e9d\u00e9s de fabrication : la plateforme devient ainsi autant un outil de production de prototypes qu\u2019un environnement de <strong>recherche appliqu\u00e9e et d\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation industrielle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-une-infrastructure-accessible-aux-entreprises\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une infrastructure accessible aux entreprises<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour INNOV, l\u2019objectif n\u2019est pas simplement de disposer d\u2019une technologie suppl\u00e9mentaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La plateforme doit permettre aux entreprises de venir <strong>tester une id\u00e9e sans avoir \u00e0 investir imm\u00e9diatement dans leur propre infrastructure industrielle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selon la nature d\u2019un projet, les \u00e9quipes d\u2019INNOV peuvent notamment accompagner une entreprise pour :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>d\u00e9velopper et fabriquer un prototype;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>tester de nouveaux mat\u00e9riaux;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>exp\u00e9rimenter diff\u00e9rents param\u00e8tres de fabrication;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>valider un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de fabrication robotis\u00e9e;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>d\u00e9velopper ou am\u00e9liorer une composante;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>r\u00e9aliser une preuve de concept avant un investissement industriel plus important.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La fiche technique de l\u2019\u00e9quipement identifie d\u2019ailleurs le prototypage, la fabrication additive de pi\u00e8ces grand format, les essais de mat\u00e9riaux et la validation de proc\u00e9d\u00e9s robotis\u00e9s parmi ses principales applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cette nouvelle infrastructure vient ainsi renforcer les capacit\u00e9s du centre Mat\u00e9riaux de pointe de Caraquet et, plus largement, l\u2019offre de recherche appliqu\u00e9e propos\u00e9e par les centres INNOV du CCNB aux entreprises du Nouveau-Brunswick et du Canada atlantique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-un-investissement-collectif-dans-la-recherche-appliquee\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un investissement collectif dans la recherche appliqu\u00e9e<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Repr\u00e9sentant un investissement d\u2019environ <strong>500 000 $<\/strong>, le projet a \u00e9t\u00e9 rendu possible gr\u00e2ce au soutien de <strong>l\u2019Agence de promotion \u00e9conomique du Canada atlantique (APECA), de RechercheNB et du CCNB<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019entreprise britannique <strong>Rapid Fusion<\/strong> a \u00e9galement accompagn\u00e9 les \u00e9quipes d\u2019INNOV dans l\u2019int\u00e9gration, l\u2019installation et la mise en service de la plateforme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Son d\u00e9voilement a \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019occasion de pr\u00e9senter cette nouvelle capacit\u00e9, mais aussi de rappeler le r\u00f4le que peut jouer la recherche appliqu\u00e9e pour rapprocher les entreprises de technologies qui seraient autrement difficiles \u00e0 exp\u00e9rimenter
